Welcome to Scritches! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Scritches platform (the "Platform"), which is owned and operated by Scritches Software, LLC ("Scritches," "we," "us," or "our"). The Platform provides management tools for pet care businesses, including booking, invoicing, and client management services. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to comply with these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Platform.

Definitions

"Platform": Refers to Scritches software, website, mobile applications, and any other services provided by Scritches Software, LLC.

"User(s)": Refers to pet care business owners and their clients who use the Platform.
"Pet Care Provider(s)": Businesses that use the Platform to manage their pet care services, including pet sitting, dog walking, pet transportation, and more.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you have the right, authority, and capacity to enter into these Terms and to comply with them.

Services

Provided Scritches Software, LLC offers a suite of management tools tailored to pet care businesses, including:

Scheduling and booking management
Invoicing and client management
Client and pet profile management
Notifications and reminders

User Accounts

Account Creation
Pet Care Providers must create an account to access the Platform. You agree to provide accurate information and to update your information as necessary. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for any activity that occurs under your account.

Client Accounts
Clients of Pet Care Providers may access services via an account or through limited access without creating an account, as specified by their Pet Care Provider.

Booking Management

Booking Services
Scritches facilitates bookings between Pet Care Providers and their clients. However, Scritches is not responsible for the actual provision of pet care services or any related transactions.

Payments
Scritches does not process payments for bookings. All payment arrangements are to be handled directly between Pet Care Providers and their clients.

User Responsibilities

6.1 Compliance with Laws
Users agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations when using Scritches, including those related to client confidentiality, data protection, and tax obligations.

6.2 Accuracy of Information
You agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information on the Platform and to take responsibility for any consequences arising from providing false or outdated information.

6.3 Usage Restrictions
Users agree not to misuse Scritches. Prohibited activities include (but are not limited to) unauthorized access, disrupting the Platform’s functionality, and using the Platform for illegal activities.

Pet Care Cancellation and Refund Policy

Scritches does not handle cancellation or refund policies, which are the sole responsibility of each Pet Care Provider. Clients should consult their Pet Care Provider for details on cancellation and refunds.

Termination of Accounts

Scritches reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in unlawful activities. Scritches may also terminate access to the Platform with reasonable notice for any reason, including, but not limited to, inactivity or misuse.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Scritches, its employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Scritches is provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranties, express or implied.

Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in Scritches and its components are owned by us. Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use Scritches in accordance with these Terms. Users may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of Scritches without our permission.

Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. If a revision is material, we will provide advance notice to users via email or in-app notifications. By continuing to use Scritches after the changes become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.

Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Wyoming. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of Scritches will be resolved in the courts located in Wyoming
